I mean, how can I tell if they're totally feeding me a line? What kind of response should I expect, other than, "Oh! I hadn't even thought of doing this, because my credit rating has been poor, but I've been working hard, and am now in the upper 700's! Can't wait until you're the "Dear Abby" of credit! I called my credit card company after readng your entry and asked for my rate to be lowered. they took it down from 10.99% to 8.99%... just because I asked. You just saved me a bunch of money!
