Football players just don’t make what they used to, do they?

Nah, we’re just kidding. But according to The Huffington Post, it is true that Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline really does sometimes work the drive-thru window at a convenience store he and a buddy own in Ohio. When they are short-staffed and Brian is in town, he jumps right in at Smart Stop and takes over to take care of his customers.

Hartline recently signed a $31 million contract with the Dolphins and he joins the NFL’s Calvin Johnson as financial role models for football fans everywhere. Unlike some professional athletes, he is investing some of his money for his non-playing future rather than spending it all now in the moment.
