One of the newer trends in investing is the “microloan.” Microloans allow everyday people with relatively small amounts of cash to lend directly to other people. The loans usually range from $25 to $5,000, and the borrowers are typically struggling entrepreneurs in developing countries who are looking to fund their small businesses.
